Léo Rossel (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) and Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-Trajectus Motorsport) went blow for blow at the start of rally, "to you to me".
Rossel, leader of the French Championship, proved uncompromising and managed to distance Bonato special after special. The PH Sport rider finished the first stage with more than 15 seconds ahead of Bonato.

Regularly 3rd, Eric Camilli (i20 N Rally2-Team Bonneton HDG-2C Compétition) is ready to take advantage of the slightest misstep by the drivers ahead of him.

In a fight with Yannick Vivens (DS 3 R5) at the start of the rally, Lucas Darmezin (C3 Rally2-VIP Enjolras Race) is placed in ambush in fourth place. He must nevertheless be wary of Réhane Gany (Fiesta Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport-Iron Lynx), author of a solid stage.

Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Team Bonneton HDG-2C Compétition) dominates the two-wheel drive classification while Julien Deslauriers-Sablonnière (Clio RS Line) dominates the Clio Trophy France.
