Four French crews at the Rally della Val d'Orcia

Louis Constant, Eliott Delecour, Victor Cartier and Alexandre Villiod will participate with their respective co-drivers in the Rally della Val d'Orcia. This will be the second round of the Italian Gravel Rally Championship.

While the World Rally Championship has settled into Croatia, with numerous French crews on the starting grid, the Italian Gravel Rally Championship will hold its second round of the season, again featuring French drivers. As was the case in the first round, the Rally Città di Foligno, Louis Constant and Maxime Martini will be at the start of the Rally della Val d'Orcia this weekend in a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 prepared by MS Munaretto. Sixth in the first round, the crew sits fifth in the championship standings before this race, as Nikolay Gryazin and Konstantin Alexandrov, second in Foligno, were not in contention for the championship. In total, no fewer than 28 Rally2 cars will be present at this event. rally, including an impressive number of Fabia RS Rally2s, 19 in total.

Rally della Val d'Orcia: Constant, Delecour, Cartier and Villiod want to do well

Constant and Martini will not be the only French drivers competing in the top category. Eliott Delecour and his mother Priscille de Belloy will also be participating, aboard a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 as was the case for François' son at the Swedish Rally in WRCWinner at Foligno, Finland's Benjamin Korhola will be the target for both Delecour and Constant. Let's not forget Victor Cartier and his atypical homemade Toyota Yaris Rally2 kit: co-driven by Emma Collet, he too could capitalize on his accumulated gravel driving experience in France to shine. Finally, and perhaps the most interesting piece of information, young hopefuls Alexandre Villiod and Maëlle Casays will be there to hone their skills. Peugeot 208 Rally4 and of the Earth, especially with a view to the Aléria Earth Rally, the next round of the SMRC4.
