Evolution of the A110 Rally, the GT+ version offers some new features, mainly aerodynamic. A new front bumper will allow drivers to benefit from more aerodynamic downforce, while at the rear a complete wing appears, to also promote downforce and stability. A new carbon rear window helps reduce the weight of the car.

The 1,8L turbo engine can develop up to 330 horsepower. This new car will be present in the French Championship this weekend in the hands of Raphaël Astier. Other A110 Rallye GT+ should then fill the entry lists, in the GT Plus category.

Alpine announced its return to rallying in 2019, with the two-wheel drive A110 Rally. Victorious from its debut in 2020, it has sometimes won rallies in the general classification as well, despite opposition with four-wheel drive. We can add to this list three titles in its category in the French Championship, and two FIA Cups, in the R-GT category.

A pedigree that the new A110 Rallye GT+ must honor this season! The arrival of an evolution of the machine was necessary, to remain competitive: « Each year, the competition has progressed, so we had to develop the product to hope to once again play spoilsport overall on our favorite special stages. The A110 Rallye GT+ is based on the A110 Rally in order to contain costs while meeting specific FFSA approval, giving us more latitude while allowing us to offer a conversion kit to our existing customers., explained Lionel Chevalier, technical director of Signatech.

“She will thus be able to express herself on beautiful playing fields in France, Spain and the Benelux. The project was launched last fall and we have reached all the necessary milestones for Raphaël Astier to be present at the wheel this week in Antibes, as a real nod to Nicolas Ciamin's scratch victory during the 2021 edition! »
