The entry list of the Rally The entry list for the sixth round of the World Rally Championship in Portugal (May 07-10) was unveiled earlier this week, revealing a total of 70 crews entered, including 11 Rally1 cars, among them the 2025 World Champions. Sébastien Ogier and Vincent Landais (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), reigning rally winners. Also present next week at the Canary Islands Rally – Rally of Spain, the two men will therefore be competing in two events within two weeks. Among the other cars in the top category, not counting the regulars on the grid, it will be possible to find Dani Sordo – Cándido Carrera (Hyundai i20N Rally1), for their second appearance of the season, also after the Canary Islands, and Mārtiņš Sesks – Renārs Francis, back in the Ford Puma Rally1 ofM-Sport after a somewhat disappointing Rally Sweden last February.
As is often the case, many French drivers in WRC2 and a few surprises.
We've gotten used to it, but the French will be massively represented at this Rally of Portugal. In addition to the two crews in the top category, WRC2 will welcome Yohan Rossel – Arnaud Dunand (Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale), Eric Camilli – Thibault de la Haye (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2), Mattéo Chatillon – Maxence Cornuau (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2), Eliott Delecour – Romain Roche (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), Tristan Charpentier – Loris Pascaud (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) and Adrien Mosca – Julie Amblard (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2). Two surprises also emerge from this list: on the one hand, the presence of Pablo Sarrazin – Yannick Roche in WRC2 on board the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale instead of the Citroën C3 Rally2, on the other hand, the absence of the first winners of the season, Léo Rossel and Guillaume Mercoiret.

As is often the case, the event also boasts generous prizes in the support categories. As a reminder, this will be the third round of the Junior Championship. WRC and will therefore host a number of Rally3 entries, including one driven by Corentin Silvestre from Vaucluse, co-driver for the Turk Kerem Kazaz. In Rally3, Eric Royère, winner at Monte Carlo, will be present with Maxime Andernack in the co-driver's seat of his Ford Fiesta Rally3. Let's not forget to mention, in this class, Sylvain and Mathieu Tamisier (Renault Clio Rally3), or even the Northerner Hugues Lapouille and his son Léo as navigator (Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo) in RC-2: the two crews mentioned will compete outside the WRC round.
