Bryan Bouffier and the crazy story of the French Yaris

Among the four Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 present at the next Monte-Carlo, that of the 2011 winner will be followed by the new ERACE WRT team. It will be both the culmination and the starting point of a very beautiful adventure that began in a parking lot in Japan, in November 2022.

Entered as part of the 2 WRC2022 Master, Jean-Michel Raoux finished his championship during the rally from Japan. Dissatisfied with the method of operation practiced by the manufacturer of the car he was using at the time, he expressed his desire to try another approach. Never short of ideas, the Vauclusian had mentioned the possibility of turning to Toyota. At the time, this decision seemed completely crazy and unfeasible.
