Hyundai's current position in the WRC is delicate. Cyril Abiteboul is fighting to keep the South Korean manufacturer in the WRC and is campaigning for a clash of philosophies... but this hope currently seems unlikely to materialize and could lead to Hyundai's departure from the WRC.

Where are you at regarding your reflection on your presence in WRC en 2026 ?

Although it may seem strange, we are not focusing too much on 2026, but rather on 2027. If we can have confidence in the future of the championship and our future in it, there will be no debate about 2026. If we are sure of committing to 2027, it will follow that we will be there next year. I have already spoken on the subject, but among the manufacturers, several of us share concerns.
