The second day with live commentary
18h54 - 🏁 That's all for today, see you this Sunday at 7:27 sharp to follow the last day of this Rally Sweden 2025!
18h42 - And the general classification:
18h42 - The classification of this SS15:
18h37 - ???? Ott Tänak : "You have to ask the engineers, they can explain what happened much better than I can. We try to do the best we can with what we have. With the tools at my disposal, I can't win at the moment, that's for sure."
18h36 - Ott Tänak finishes, 2″5 behind Thierry Neuville, who won for the third time today. The top 3 are therefore within 6″3 before the last day of this Rally Sweden!
18h33 - 💬 Takamoto Katsuta: "Three seconds, really? Tomorrow, I just want to finish! We'll see what the team has to say. I'm hungry for a lot of things but I've also seen that sometimes I've been too hungry and it ended badly, so I'll try to be smart this time."
18h33 - Katsuta arrives, taking three seconds back from Elfyn Evans, so the gap is now only three seconds before the last three special stages this Sunday!
18h31 - 💬 Elfyn Evans: “Coming into the junction I lost the rear and stalled, not ideal.”
18h30 - 5″2 behind at the finish for Evans on Neuville, there is only 6″3 gap left between the two men, the podium will be a close second!
18h29 - Elfyn Evans has stalled in a hairpin! The Welshman risks losing precious seconds, he who only has a six-second advantage over Takamoto Katsuta!
18h27 - 2″6 ahead for Thierry Neuville who should consolidate his third place on the podium, but with only 5″5 behind Katsuta before this special, second position remains within reach! The Belgian explains that he will give his all this Sunday, that his pace improves special after special and that he is starting to have good feelings with his Hyundai.
18h25 - 💬 Kalle Rovanperä: "I don't think we are close to what is optimum, but it was much better than yesterday! We did our best, and there are still things to find tomorrow, and a fight to get good points. The step of the podium that I want to be on is no longer available, but anything can happen!"
18h24 - End of the day for Kalle Rovanperä, 1″9 ahead of his teammate Pajari.
18h21 - The battle of the youngsters continues, Martins Sesks loses seven tenths on Sami Pajari, but he will finish the day with a 12″2 lead.
18h19 - 💬 Josh McErlean: “It’s good to be battling with some of the best riders in the world. I struggled a lot in Monte Carlo so it’s great to show some speed this weekend.”
18h18 - End of the special for Josh McErlean, the Irishman only concedes two seconds, and he will finish the day eighth at worst.
18h16 - The Finn is satisfied with one day “clean, where I was able to learn in many conditions.”
18h15 - Sami Pajari finished, three tenths faster than the driver M-Sport Ford.
18h13 - 💬 Grégoire Munster: "It was a tough afternoon, I feel like we did our best loop on a Rally Sweden, but our position on the road makes any good result impossible. We worked a lot with the engineers, we are moving forward, I am happy about it and the work is paying off."
18h12 - 16″7 lead at the finish for Grégoire Munster, who logically takes the best time.
18h09 - 3'51″0 at the finish for the Greek driver, who is finishing his day.
18h05 - 🟢 It's off to Jourdan Serderidis, who goes wide at the first bend of a special stage which is still covered in a layer of fresh snow, and at night.
18h03 - Here we are again for the last special of the day, a third run this weekend in the Umeå Sprint special, which takes in the last 5,16 kilometres of Sunday's Power Stage.
16h51 - And the general classification before the last special of the day, at 18:05 p.m.:
16h50 - The ranking of this 14th special:
16h47 - Ott Tänak finishes, 2″6 behind Thierry Neuville who therefore wins a second special this Saturday. The Estonian talks about a day far from ideal, the desire to go and rest at the hotel and the fact that he himself does not need a “reset”, but rather his car!
16h44 - Katsuta finished, one second behind Thierry Neuville but above all he made up time on Elfyn Evans, he was only six seconds behind his teammate at the finish.
16h42 - 💬 Elfyn Evans: "I hit a snow wall, not too hard but I didn't have enough grip. The entry speed wasn't bad, but I made a mistake with the angle given to the car."
16h41 - Elfyn Evans is 3″6 behind Thierry Neuville at the finish, but the Welshman maintains an 11″5 lead over the Belgian overall.
16h35 - 4″5 lead at the finish for Thierry Neuville, new leader of the special, who believes he has "finally had a good special" !
16h33 - 💬 Kalle Rovanperä: "I have nothing more to give, I attacked flat out and didn't make any mistakes. The road will be a little better for the next stages but I gave it my all. I'm not 100% comfortable with the car yet but I'm trying to attack as much as possible."
16h32 - Impressive run by Kalle Rovanperä who finished with a 7″6 lead.
16h29 - The Latvian nevertheless finished the special one second faster than Sami Pajari!
16h28 - Martins Sesks made a mistake and could lose a few seconds to Pajari in their fight for sixth place overall.
16h26 - Great special for McErlean, who only concedes six tenths to Sami Pajari, the Irishman surprises on this Rally of Sweden!
16h23 - 4″5 ahead for Sami Pajari, who explains that he lacked grip at the end of the special on accelerations, but he is rather satisfied overall.
16h21 - 55″6 lead for Munster at the finish, as Josh McErlean goes slightly wide on a cross.
16h18 - 9'28″1 for Jourdan Serderidis at the finish of the special.
16h13 - While Grégoire Munster also took part in the special, the sun set over Sweden, offering magnificent images, but also another challenge for the drivers, with reduced visibility.
16h08 - 🟢 Jourdan Serderidis is off to a good start in SS14, asAdrien fourmaux and Alexandre Coria have unfortunately still not managed to get their Hyundai out of the snow it seems.
15h49 - And the provisional general, meeting at 16:08 p.m. for ES14:
15h49 - The classification of this SS14:
15h42 - Ott Tänak finished 5″4 behind, and Thierry Neuville returned to the overall podium, while Elfyn Evans won a special stage for the fifth time in this rally.
15h40 - Adrien Fourmaux and Alexandre Coria continue to try to get their Hyundai out of the snow, but the cold is not making things easy.
15h39 - 2″6 behind at the finish for Takamoto Katsuta, the Japanese is now 8″6 behind his teammate Evans in the general classification.
15h36 - 1″2 ahead for the rally leader, Elfyn Evans. "The conditions were not easy, the grip was less forgiving than this morning. I try to drive well, and that's it."
15h32 - 💬 Thierry Neuville: "I felt pretty good, as always I have a bit of trouble with the balance but overall it wasn't bad. We would have liked to go faster, but on some sections the track is cleaning up well so we're going to have a hard time fighting with the riders behind."
15h30 - 💥 Adrien Fourmaux went out, he hit a wall of snow and his Hyundai got stuck in the snow on the sides of the track!
15h30 - Thierry Neuville sets the best time at the finish, just four tenths ahead of Rovanperä!
15h28 - 💬Kalle Rovanperä: "It's a little better than this morning but the conditions are very different. Even for a second pass, we clean a lot for the guys behind us, it will help them, but we did our best."
15h27 - 5″1 ahead of Kalle Rovanperä at the finish, the double world champion was nevertheless expecting to be in difficulty on this fast special.
15h25 - 💬 Martins Sesks: "It was really difficult because there is grip in some places but in general, when braking, it slides a lot! We fight well with Sami, it reminds me of the years in Junior WRC ! »
15h24 - Martins Sesks finishes… with the same time as Sami Pajari! The Latvian therefore concedes nothing to the Finn in the general classification.
15h22 - 3″7 behind at the finish for Josh McErlean, who is surprised by the lack of grip compared to what he expected.
15h18 - Sami Pajari finishes, beating Munster's time by six seconds. The Finn explains that he wasn't perfect on the special but that it didn't go too badly.
15h15 - Grégoire Munster finished with a 51″8 lead. "No grip, so when you're riding that fast it's crazy, but it was fun. I hit a few snow walls, it wasn't the most efficient stage but we did what we could. The rear takes a holiday in every corner, so it slides a lot!"
15h13 - 7'46″9, first time of the special, for Serderidis.
15h11 - The special is likely to be slower than this morning, we are starting to see gravel coming back onto the track in the onboard images of Serderidis and Grégoire Munster.
15h05 - 🟢 Jourdan Serderidis takes on the very fast Sarsjöliden special, where we flirted with an average of 130 km/h this morning!
14h51 - And the general one after SS12, we meet at 15:05 p.m. for SS13!
14h51 - The ranking of this twelfth special:
14h49 - Special victory for Adrien Fourmaux, Ott Tänak finishes one second behind his teammate! But the Estonian takes back third place overall.
14h47 - 💬 Takamoto Katsuta: "I messed up and lost a few seconds by hitting the wall. It was a stupid mistake but it's the first mistake for me this weekend so I told myself that I was going to keep going at full speed. I'm going to try not to make any more mistakes."
14h46 - Katsuta lost 4 seconds on the best time after going off in a snow bank, he now concedes six seconds to Evans in the general classification.
14h43 - Elfyn Evans finished 1″2 behind Fourmaux, so he will retain the lead of the rally after this special, Takamoto Katsuta having had a small problem in the special. "I tried to stay clean, but the stage is difficult for the tyres, it's always a worry on a second pass."
14h41 - 💬 Adrien Fourmaux: "I saw two places where there was no grip when we went off the line, but otherwise the stage was pretty clean. I must have lost two or three seconds but in such difficult conditions it's okay."
14h40 - The Frenchman still finished with the best time, 2″6 ahead of Rovanperä!
14h39 - Adrien Fourmaux hits a wall of snow, but the Frenchman can continue, he is on the attack!
14h38 - 💬 Thierry Neuville: "We'll see, it's a long loop, I'm quite happy with my riding, we can maybe push a little more at the start but I felt good at the end."
14h37 - Thierry Neuville finished 1″3 behind Rovanperä. Overall, the Finn is 9″1 behind the reigning world champion.
14h35 - Kalle Rovanperä sets the fastest time with a 6″ lead. The double world champion did not feel very comfortable, he wonders if the settings changes made in the service park did not handicap him.
14h32 - 💬 Martins Sesks: "We missed a crossing at the start of the special, I expected it to be slippery but not to this extent! We found a good rhythm on the second half of the special."
14h31 - While he was up to six seconds behind, Martins Sesks came back to 1″5 behind Sami Pajari at the end of the special! He maintains an 11″9 lead overall.
14h28 - Josh McErlean finished, 5″8 behind the Finn from Toyota.
14h27 - 💬 Sami Pajari: "The conditions are very different from this morning, the grip changes a lot so it's not easy to really get the rhythm. I'm not totally happy with my special because I was a bit wide in some places."
14h25 - 15″8 lead at the finish for Sami Pajari, the times seem to be getting faster and faster.
14h24 - 💬 Grégoire Munster: “For me it was worse everywhere! There are a few ruts to keep the front tyres in line, but the rear slides a lot. I had a very good stage, but it will be faster for the riders behind. I am very happy with my driving, I think we found a good balance and my corner exits were very efficient.”
14h23 - Munster also finished, 1'12" faster than Serderidis.
14h21 - 10'36″4 for Jourdan Serderidis, first to arrive at the finish line.
14h20 - Grégoire Munster narrowly avoided a big exit on landing from a jump, the Luxembourger's Ford Puma was destabilized, very slightly touching a wall of snow, but he was able to continue.
14h17 - Serderidis made a mistake and spun after ten kilometres of the special, but he managed to get going again.
14h13 - Grégoire Munster also sets off in this twelfth special.
14h10 - 🟢 It's off for Jourdan Serderidis, on a track that is much dirtier than this morning, the first pass in the special dug ruts, and it risks being easier and easier as it goes on for the riders, the studded tires being able to get grip more easily.
14h07 - Back on AUTOhebdo.fr for the afternoon loop of this Saturday at the Rally Sweden, with the same three special stages as this morning, then finally a Super Special Stage in Umeå at the end of the day.
12h07 - We'll meet at 14:10 p.m. for SS12 which will launch the afternoon loop!
11h52 - And the point on the general classification:
11h51 - The ranking of this eleventh special:
11h48 - The Estonian appeared to have difficulty during this stage with the cooling of his engine, water coming out of the bonnet of his machine when he was launched at full speed.
11h47 - 10 seconds behind at the finish line for Ott Tänak, who lost third place overall to Thierry Neuville.
11h44 - Katsuta finishes, he concedes 5″6 to Neuville, and especially eight tenths to Evans, who now leads the general classification with a 2″8 lead.
11h41 - 💬 Elfyn Evans: "I didn't feel like I did a good special, the crossings are not in very good condition. I'm not going to judge it as a good time, but that's how it is."
11h40 - Elfyn Evans concedes 4″8 to Thierry Neuville on the special, the Belgian comes back to eleven seconds overall.
11h39 - Not a word on arrival for Adrien Fourmaux, who seemed affected at the finish of the special.
11h38 - The Frenchman lost 23″6 at the finish, and when you know that everything is decided by the second in Sweden, it is a huge loss.
11h36 - It was at the start of the special that Fourmaux lost time, it seems that the Frenchman had not fixed his helmet correctly, we will wait for his statements at the end of the special.
11h34 - Thierry Neuville finished three seconds ahead of Rovanperä, and the Belgian rider increased his advantage in the general classification, after losing time on the first two special stages.
11h33 - Adrien Fourmaux lost about twenty seconds in the special, we don't know what happened to the Frenchman, who continued without any apparent problem in the special.
11h32 - 💬 Kalle Rovanperä: "I don't think I'll do as well as I did on the first two stages, because I didn't feel comfortable enough to attack well."
11h32 - Fastest time at the finish for Kalle Rovanperä, nine tenths ahead of Pajari's other Toyota.
11h30 - 💬 Martins Sesks: "Yesterday, we had a very good feeling and here it's very fast, we drive on the limiter for a good minute sometimes. I have trouble keeping the right pace in the fast corners, and today it's almost all there is!"
11h29 - 2″4 behind Martins Sesks at the end of the special, Sami Pajari is back to 13 seconds overall.
11h26 - 4″2 behind Josh McErlean at the end of this special. The Irishman also had a lot of fun in this special, mainly in the long fast sections.
11h24 - 💬 Sami Pajari: "It didn't go too badly, I wasn't perfect, but I managed to enjoy some nice sections."
11h22 - Sami Pajari finishes with a 5″4 lead for the moment!
11h21 - 💬 Grégoire Munster: "There's still a lot of fresh snow in the first part of the special and then it gets better. On the fast roads it's okay, but when you leave the main road and find yourself in a kind of Gymkhana, I slide and I don't like it too much."
11h20 - It was Grégoire Munster's turn to finish with a 1'01″5 lead over his teammate.
11h18 - 9'17″3 for Jourdan Serderidis at the finish of this eleventh special.
11h15 - 📺 Grégoire Munster is launched in the special just like Sami Pajari, a look back at a hot moment for the Luxembourger on SS10:

11h14 - This eleventh timed section is a little more technical than the previous one, but we still reach 190 km/h in a straight line, all on snow and ice!
11h08 - 🟢 Let's go for SS11, first pass through Kolksele, 16,06 kilometers on the program, with Jourdan Serderidis to open.
10h54 - Next special at 11:08 for Rally1, and that will be the end of this first loop, we will take the same three specials in the afternoon, before a third passage through the Umeå Super Special.
10h53 - The first WRC2 drivers finish, Oliver Solberg increases his lead in the general standings with the best provisional time. Estonian Georg Linnamäe went off in a right-hand bend, he was able to continue thanks to the help of the many Swedish supporters present!
10h47 - And the general point before the ES11, which will start at 11:08:
10h46 - The ranking of this tenth special:
10h42 - Ott Tänak concedes 4″6 to Elfyn Evans on this special, surprising when you know how comfortable the Estonian can be on fast specials like this one!
10h39 - 1″9 behind Katsuta at the finish, he is now two seconds behind overall. The Japanese explains that he has a lot of difficulty driving his car on this special, and that he cannot explain why.
10h37 - 💬 Elfyn Evans: "It's a fast stage! I wasn't always perfect but I really pushed hard."
10h36 - Best time at the finish for Elfyn Evans, four tenths ahead of Kalle Rovanperä.
10h34 - 💬 Adrien Fourmaux: "We improved the car but the stage is much faster. The car works well on the fast sections, I lost a bit of time on a few small mistakes so it's a bit frustrating."
10h33 - Adrien Fourmaux is making up time on his Belgian teammate, but only two tenths! He is 1″5 behind Rovanperä.
10h31 - 💬 Thierry Neuville: “I made some changes but I still have problems with understeer, especially in the middle of the corner. So I have to slow down on the entry to the corner, and that’s where you lose time. I think my driving is good but I have to find the balance on the car that gives more confidence.”
10h30 - Thierry Neuville finishes, 1″7 behind Rovanperä.
10h28 - 💬 Kalle Rovanperä: "I still lack a bit of confidence in the fast sections, it could have been better but it's not bad."
10h27 - 6'37″9 for Kalle Rovanperä, definitely in great shape this Saturday morning, he sets the best time!
10h25 - 💬 Martins Sesks: "The first stage was fast too, and here in some places I thought I was going to end up in the trees, and in other places I felt slow, it was not easy to find the right balance."
10h24 - 2″9 behind on arrival for Martins Sesks.
10h22 - 💬 Josh McErlean: “I’m really upset that I made this mistake, especially as it’s a great stage. I’m looking forward to going back this afternoon. The junctions are the most difficult places on this rally because you’re braking hard when turning left and suddenly you have to throw the car to the right.”
10h21 - Third place for McErlean, 4″8 behind Pajari, losing a few seconds on his mistake, great special from the Irishman!
10h20 - Josh McErlean narrowly avoids a penalty by entering a hairpin, he lightly touches a wall of snow but he can set off again without any problem.
10h19 - 💬 Sami Pajari: "It wasn't a perfect stage for me, I lost a bit of time but it wasn't that bad. I dropped a few tenths here and there."
10h18 - 2″3 lead at the finish for Sami Pajari over Grégoire Munster.
10h16 - 💬 Grégoire Munster: "I tried on a few corners, some I wasn't aggressive enough, and on some a bit too much. It's one of my three favourite stages on the calendar, it's so fast!"
10h15 - 59″9 lead at the finish for Grégoire Munster, with a special at an average speed of over 126 km/h!
10h13 - First time on arrival for Jourdan Serderidis, the Greek clocks 7'44″7.
10h11 - And Munster proved it after just a few kilometres, he nearly hit a garage after sliding on a right-hand bend!
10h08 - Grégoire Munster also started the special, second place on the road could have been an advantage for the M-Sport Ford driver, but with a nice layer of fresh snow, everything becomes more difficult!
10h05 - 🟢 Jourdan Serderidis is off to the start, as he is the first to set off on the Sarsjöliden special, with just over 14 kilometres. It is currently -10°C, so ice and snow will definitely be there!
09h53 - And the general classification is very tight, we meet at 10:05 for the tenth special of the rally!
09h52 - The ranking of this ninth special after the passage of all the Rally1:
09h50 - 💬 Ott Tänak: “It was slippery, but I felt good with the car today.”
09h49 - Tänak concedes 2″8 to Rovanperä, and he is still third overall with the same gap to Evans.
09h47 - The last Rally1 driver, Ott Tänak, will soon be presenting himself, he is currently faster than the Katsuta/Evans duo, he could take the lead of the rally at the end of this first special!
09h47 - 💬 Takamoto Katsuta: “It’s a strange stage because I expected more grip in some places, traction is not easy to find either.”
09h46 - Takamoto Katsuta finishes, he loses two seconds on Rovanperä, but he takes back 0″5 on Evans, coming back to a tenth of the Welshman in the general classification!
09h43 - 💬 Elfyn Evans: “It went pretty well, I couldn’t get the speed I wanted in some places that were very slippery, but it went pretty well.”
09h42 - Overall leader, Elfyn Evans finished just 2″ behind Rovanperä, a very good start to Saturday for the Welshman!
09h42 - 💬 Adrien Fourmaux: "There are a lot of slippery sections and the lines are not easy to follow. I tried to do a clean stage but I'm not really happy with it, I'll see what we can do for the next stages. I'm not very happy with my driving and the set-up of the car."
09h41 - 5″3 of spending at the finish for Adrien Fourmaux, who finishes and slightly increases his advantage over Thierry Neuville in the general classification, he now has a 3″2 lead.
09h38 - 7″3 behind Thierry Neuville at the finish, the reigning world champion indicates that he almost spun in a fast bend when he hit a wall of snow, but that otherwise everything went well.
09h35 - 💬 Kalle Rovanperä: "Today I feel like I can trust the car a little bit, and I can use it to do something."
09h34 - Kalle Rovanperä sets an excellent time, 8″4 ahead of Sami Pajari! The double world champion wants to come back after a difficult first day this Friday.
09h34 - The Latvian pilot therefore confirms that the effect of the sweep is significant, the lines are now very visible and the snow seems to have given way to ice.
09h33 - 💬 Martins Sesks: "We expected a lot of snow but it wasn't that bad. We had a good stage, but not the best possible."
09h32 - Second fastest time at the finish for Martins Sesks, he concedes 8″4 to Sami Pajari.
09h29 - 💬 Josh McErlean: "It wasn't too bad, sometimes complicated in some places with lines and snow in the same place. You have to manage to slide to create grip so it's not much!"
09h29 - Josh McErlean finished 9 seconds behind Pajari, who passed him in the general classification by 1 seconds.
09h26 - 💬 Sami Pajari: "I have a good feeling but the conditions are not easy because the grip changes at each corner, it is not easy to find the right rhythm. But I still had a lot of fun."
09h25 - With a 16″1 lead for Sami Pajari at the finish over the Luxembourg driver, the Finn could overtake McErlean at the end of this first special, in the general classification.
09h24 - 💬 Grégoire Munster: "It's difficult, yesterday being at the front in the starting list was an advantage but today it's not easy with the fresh snow. And Jourdan's line is sometimes there, sometimes not, so it's not easy."
09h23 - Arrival of Grégoire Munster in 9'25″0.
09h23 - In the onboard camera with Sami Pajari, we can already see how the first lines are drawn on the snow, the drivers who will set off at the end of the special will benefit from terrain in very good condition!
09h22 - Jourdan Serderidis finished in 10'43″0.
09h21 - The top 5 of this Rally of Sweden are within ten seconds, the first trio of special stages this morning could settle the situation... Or tighten it up even more!
09h15 - Grégoire Munster and Sami Pajari are also taking on the first special of the day, Vännäs 1, with a real role as "sweepers" as we can see on the gravel stages, given the amount of snow on the road!
09h10 - 🟢 Here we go for the first special of the day, with Jourdan Serderidis leading the way!

Well done this morning, you are really into real time. Thank you.
