In this Rally from Sweden, very disputed, Adrien fourmaux has never been far from the top spots. In the running since Friday, the Northerner has always been present in the Top 4 and close to the leader to the point of making him a serious contender for the podium, and why not for victory.

But the Tricolore's hopes took a big hit this Saturday during SS11, the last of this morning loop. Fourth, 12 seconds behind the leader Elfyn Evans before the start of the special, the driver Hyundai appears lower in the standings when it comes to returning to the midday service. In sixth position and 31 seconds from the leader to be precise.

It was his helmet that caused this loss of time. Indeed, Adrien Fourmaux was forced to stop just a few seconds after starting SS11 to tighten it. A bad operation that cost him around twenty seconds before he could get back on the road.

At the stop point, the Frenchman refused to answer before publishing a tweet repeating a cult phrase from football manager José Mourinho, when the latter preferred not to mention the poor refereeing according to him of which his team had been the victim during a match in 2014. @Pelagere: Exactly not ONLY the pilot, the co-pilot too, but not really the stewards! Very mainly the responsibility falls on the one who has his head in the helmet especially when it has already happened to him!

And the race stewards did not check before the start, I only did it regionally and it was something they looked at with the harnesses, shame on the stewards and not on the driver and I see that many enthusiasts have never set foot in a racing car.

HE SHOULD PUT A POST-IT ON HIMSELF: Remember to tie his shoes, remember to put on and tie his helmet, the same for gloves...................

If my memory serves me right, this is the second time this has happened to him! Watching the rally broadcast this morning I was wondering which one was going to crack first, I was hesitating between Katsuta and him.
