Hyundai will once again pay tribute to Craig Breen, who died in 2023 during preparatory tests for the Rally Croatia.

Hyundai unveils a livery paying tribute to Craig Breen for Croatia

For the return to the calendar WRC du Rally from Croatia after a year's absence, Hyundai don't intend to forget the memory of Craig BreenThe Irish driver was killed three years ago during preparatory testing for the Croatian rally, while driving a Hyundai i20 Rally1. With the Korean brand using different liveries at each rally this season, the opportunity to pay tribute to the Irishman could not be missed.

Thus, the words "For Craig" will be inscribed on the left door, while "Flat to the square right," an iconic Craig Breen melody, will be on the right door. A watermark of the Irish driver's portrait will appear on the sides and roof of the cars driven by Thierry Neuville, Adrien fourmaux and Hayden Paddon.

The loss of Craig Breen, an iconic figure in the WRC, is still felt today, three years after his passing. Embodying the spirit of camaraderie inherent in rallying, the Irishman has been honored by Hyundai since 2023 with the words "For Craig" on the rear of the i20 Rally1, hats worn by team members during the winter rounds, and special liveries for each return to Croatia.

The event will start this Thursday in Rijeka, with the Shakedown, before three days of timed special stages counting towards the overall classification.
