This is obviously one of the big questions that fans are asking. rallyAnd especially those planning to attend the Monte Carlo Rally. The opening round of the World Rally Championship, it attracts a huge crowd of enthusiasts every year who, with each edition, set out in search of the ideal spot to best enjoy the spectacle. But arriving on time is crucial to avoid any unpleasant surprises! Fortunately, the Automobile Club of Monaco is coming to the aid of rally fans, as the exact road closure times have been announced. The rule is clear for all the special stages that the competitors will tackle: no one will be allowed to drive, except for support vehicles, authorized media, officials, course openers, and law enforcement, three hours before the start of the first special stage. A rule that requires a bit of planning.

Several rules to follow

In addition to the rules issued by the Monte Carlo Rally Race Direction, those of the prefectures crossed by the rally must also be considered: Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Alpes-Maritimes, and Drôme are the four departments visited by the event, and spectators are therefore advised to consult the online platforms of these four institutions to finalize their respective plans. To facilitate traffic flow and allow emergency vehicles, not to mention those deployed for the rally itself, to circulate freely, certain sections of road may be closed before the 180-minute cut-off time preceding the start of the first race car. It is also important to bear in mind that, depending on the chosen special stages, the nearest parking areas to the affected public spaces are sometimes located several kilometers away: a walking route to consider to avoid missing the thrilling sections of the stage. Sébastien Ogier,Adrien fourmaux or even Yohan Rossel.
