After three particularly tricky special stages in the snowy mountains, rain arrived at the Port of Monaco for Saturday evening's super special stage, which made its return to the... Rally Monte Carlo after more than fifteen years of absence. The drivers set off for two laps of a section of the circuit. Formula 1starting and ending at La Rascasse.
And the treacherous conditions of Saturday continued into the evening, but did not prevent Adrien fourmaux to set the fastest time. The driver from northern France, equipped with four slick tires, took the lead over the Toyota by Takamoto Katsuta, the Hyundai de Thierry Neuville and another Toyota, that of a Sébastien Ogier who was not particularly impressed by the show on offer...
"I didn't put on a show, I think we all look ridiculous here, but that's how it is! We can expect a lot more snow tomorrow, I can't say I'm looking forward to it with these tires." he declared at the stop point of the special stage.
Rally leader Oliver Solberg found himself in particular difficulty on the two mandatory donuts, but he retains the lead of the Monte Carlo Rally with just under a minute's advantage over Elfyn Evans before the last four stages of the 2026 edition, run this Sunday.

Ogier the crybaby… He never stops complaining. If it bothers him, he should step aside and let the younger generation take over, go tend his goats or chickens, we don't care! He's pathetic, ALWAYS criticizing. Meanwhile, in 2025 he took full advantage of the order of events to win all his races. Out with him, Ogier!
