After twelve special stages of this Rally Monte Carlo 2026: Oliver Solberg maintains his lead in the rally and has regained a gap of over a minute on his closest rival, Elfyn Evans. The son of the 2003 world champion was extremely cautious on the tenth stage of the rally, run in completely wintry conditions with snow and ice, before pushing hard on the eleventh stage, where rising temperatures melted a good portion of the ice towards the end of the course.
Solberg thus regains a 1:02 advantage over Elfyn Evans, while Sébastien Ogier, who set the fastest time on the tenth stage and closed to within three seconds of Evans, conceded 18,7 seconds to the winner of stage 11 and 7,3 to Evans. The reigning world champion is now 10,3 seconds behind his 2025 runner-up, in the very tight battle for second place in the overall standings.
As on Friday, the Toyota They once again showed themselves to be extremely fast this Saturday morning, with a quadruple on SS10, and a double on SS11. Adrien fourmaux managed to climb onto the podium of the eleventh special stage, and he is still in fourth place overall, more than four minutes behind Ogier.
In WRC2, Léo Rossel manages to maintain his overall lead, but the Frenchman sees his advantage shrinking to Nikolay Gryazin. The Bulgarian, driving the Lancia, is now just 10,8 seconds behind the younger Rossel brother, after a particularly strong tenth stage. His Lancia teammate, Yohan Rossel, also made a strong showing in SS10, setting the sixth fastest time overall, between the Hyundai Rally1 of Neuville and Fourmaux.
After a stop at the service park, the crews will set off again on the thirty-kilometer La Bréole / Bellaffaire stage, before heading to Monaco to finish the day with a super special stage on the circuit. Formula 1.
