Si Sébastien Ogier still can't seem to get his act together, the sixth special stage of this Rally Monte Carlo was undoubtedly the year of confirmation for Oliver Solberg. Running on a tire without studs after suffering a puncture in SS5, the Swede utterly outpaced his rivals. He finished nearly nine seconds ahead of... Thierry Neuville On the attack, more than twenty seconds ahead of Sébastien Ogier, still bogged down in this often slush and muddy snow… The new regular driver Toyota achieves a near-perfect start to Monte Carlo.
Although Elfyn Evans managed to insert himself into the mix, winning stage 5 after the infamous puncture suffered by leader Solberg, he did indeed win two of the three morning stages. It's worth noting, however, the clear form displayed by Thierry Neuville during this final run, as well as that of...Adrien fourmaux, third in SS6. Largely dependent on the position of the drivers on the road, the ranking is constantly changing, and suggests the major loss involved in opening the road when the snow is dense.
In terms of punctures, Oliver Solberg wasn't the worst off. Despite losing thirty seconds in SS5, Takamoto Katstuta, for example, lost a whopping two minutes in as many attempts due to two separate punctures. Grégoire Munster also lost valuable time in similar circumstances.
Léo Rossel is not faltering in WRC2
In the ranking of WRCThe French are still in control. Untouchable for his rivals, Léo Rossel still holds a 37-second lead over his closest pursuer in the overall standings of this Monte Carlo Rally. And indeed, his closest pursuer is none other than Éric Camili, French Rally vice-champion and runner-up in this world championship event. Third is Arthur Pelamourgues and his Hyundai i20 Rally2 are still holding their own against Nikolay Gryazin in his Lancia.

Well, I just wanted to say that Ogier criticized the official tire brand, but it seems to work well for practically everyone. I don't want to criticize you at all; you always do what you can. Thank you.

...and it's pointless to delete or block my subsequent comments when you're being told there are too many errors for "professionals" like yourself...

Don't get confused: a stage is not a special stage (SS...). A stage (over a single day) is a series of special stages (SS...). Clearly, the journalists at Autohebdo (Mathieu Chambenoit) should get with the times and learn rally terminology. Thank you.
