Ogier back in Finland: “I really wanted to do this rally again”

Le Toyota Gazoo Racing presents itself in force on the Rally of Finland with no less than five GR Yaris Rally1s which will evolve around Jyväskylä, the city where the rally branch of the Japanese manufacturer has based its facilities. The TGR has also had five victories in the last six editions. It is to maintain this domination on its lands that the team decided to line up an armada this weekend, including the part-time world champions Kalle Rovanperä and Sébastien Ogier.

For the Frenchman, it’s a return to the Rally Finland. His last appearance dates back to 2021, the year of his eighth title WRC. Ogier and his co-driver Vincent Landais remain in a good second place in Latvia.

« Rally Finland is a unique event in the championship that I think all drivers enjoy competing in, declared Sébastien Ogier before the start of the event this Thursday. It's also a difficult rally, where the local drivers have always been very strong, but it's the kind of challenge that I like and it's a rally that I really wanted to do again after a few years of absence .
