After the title won by Didier Auriol and the nine titles obtained by Sébastien Loeb, Sébastien Ogier validates the acquisition of his ninth title in turn, thus equalling the statistics of the most decorated driver in the FIA world championships.
"I've said it many times, it's never been an obsession," Sébastien Ogier explained to Canal+ microphones shortly after the podium ceremony. But honestly, of course we're happy to join such a legend! Seb, I hope you'll welcome me to the club of nine! I'll let you have your number 9 for the race, no problem (laughs).
