Leading since the second stage on Thursday evening, Oliver Solberg completed a Rally A dream Monte Carlo victory, after a Sunday where two mistakes could have cost him everything. The Swede leads a hat trick. Toyota, with Elfyn Evans in second position and Sébastien Ogier third, for his fifteenth podium in 17 editions of the Monte Carlo Rally in which he has participated.

At 24, the son of the 2003 world champion thus becomes the youngest winner in the history of the Monte Carlo Rally in the 2000 era. WRCA few months after his victory at the Estonian Rally last year, Solberg is the second youngest driver to win the rally after René Le Bègue in 1937. This is an important victory for the family, as Petter had never managed to add the Monte Carlo Rally to his list of achievements.

Adrien fourmaux et Thierry Neuville complete the top 5 with their Hyundai The i20 Rally1, after a particularly difficult rally for the Korean manufacturer. The Belgian driver experienced tricky final stages, with a puncture in the opening meters of the Turini stage, and the end of the day spent with two studded tires and two snow tires.

For M-Sport Ford's Monte Carlo Rally ended disastrously, with Grégoire Munster failing to start the first stage due to a mechanical problem. Jon Armstrong and Josh McErlean also went off the road in SS16 and were unable to finish. This brings to an end an incredible run of consecutive points finishes for M-Sport, a streak that began in 2002.

In WRC2, Léo Rossel won the Monte Carlo Rally, succeeding his brother Yohan, whose first event with Lancia showed great promise but was ultimately marred by a crash on the very first stage. Roberto Daprà finished second in the category ahead of Arthur Pelamourgues, who edged out Éric Camilli after the latter received a 3:20 penalty for a late check-in.

The next event in the World Rally Championship is from February 12th to 15th, with the Rally Sweden.

Solberg Jr. wasn't running on the same tires as the whiny Ogier.??? Ogier started complaining about the tires from the very first stage (it's true he'd just been put over 15 seconds behind him on the first stage by the "kid"). It's unacceptable to race with tires like that, we've been telling them for a year that they're like soap and they haven't done anything, it's shameful," he declared.

Solberg Junior! This kid is ASTONISHING! What a demonstration of driving skill over the four days of a Monte Carlo Rally worthy of the name. Commitment, balance, risk-taking, which almost cost him dearly. But no, he was simply untouchable. Huge congratulations to the crew of the Yaris 99. Can't wait for Sweden. It's going to be another epic race!

An even more convincing victory for Hollywood Junior than his success in Estonia 2025. Evans must still be wondering "what he did to God" to not triumph at Monte Carlo when Ogier was leading the way with his number 1!
