Sébastien Ogier is already ready to rumble. This Sunday, January 11th, the city of Gap organized a day of celebration for his 9th World Rally Championship title, won after an unprecedented battle against his teammate Elfyn Evans. The Gap native, in the streets of his hometown, set the place on fire and performed several demonstration runs at the wheel of his Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 but also alongside other cars from rally prestigious figures were present for the occasion. An impressive crowd gathered along the roadside to cheer on their nine-time champion: as a reminder, Ogier lifted the World Rally Championship sash after an intense 2025 season and it was necessary to wait until the Saudi Arabia Rally and the Power Stage to know whether Elfyn Evans or Sébastien Ogier would win the crown.

A special decoration for Sébastien Ogier

The nine-time World Rally Champion will be a little more recognizable than his teammates on the roads of the WRC in 2026. In connection with this event, Red Bull Motorsport has unveiled the first picture of the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 that Sébastien Ogier will drive this season: with Vincent Landais, they will have a livery different from those of the other Toyotas and will display more significantly the logos of the partner of the Gap native, namely Red Bull.

Sébastien Ogier and Vincent Landais will sport a special livery in 2026 on the WRC.

Also, and very likely again this year, visible on the Fords entered by the team M-SportThe Austrian energy drink sponsors the driver who has worn the #1 for several seasons now, and this won't be the first time he's driven a car bearing the red bull logo. We remember that this was the case in 2017 and 2018 on the Ford Fiesta WRC, as well as on the Citroën C3 WRC used in 2019. It was with this livery that Ogier completed his demonstration runs yesterday.
