Saudi Arabia Rally – SS4: Ogier now far ahead of Evans, Sesks still in the lead

Sami Pajari won SS4 in Saudi Arabia, covering the 11,33 kilometers in 9:37.9. The Finn finished ahead of Adrien fourmaux et Thierry Neuville on the podium.

Mārtiņš Sesks made the same mistake as Elfyn Evans at a mid-stage junction. He too had to turn back, losing valuable time. This incident relegated him to fourth place in the special stage. He nevertheless retains the overall lead by a mere second over Adrien Fourmaux.

Four special stages remain on Thursday's program in Saudi Arabia. The standings could change significantly on this unpredictable course. As a reminder, three points separate Elfyn Evans from Sébastien Ogier before the final round of the championship.

In WRC2, Oliver Solberg suffered his first defeat of the day. Nicolay Gryazin took the class victory in SS4, but the Swede's overall lead over Roope Korhonen remains more than a minute.
