Before its debut on the world championship calendar next November (27th to 30th), Rally Saudi Arabia underwent a dress rehearsal to assess the areas where improvements are needed. Simon Larkin, the promoter's events director, is confident that it will be a unique rally.

The problem is that the entry list will be 30 or 40 cars, there would be 150 at San Remo.
