The Weekly Question is back for a new edition. Each week, you have the opportunity to answer a question about an event that took place the previous weekend or that could take place the next. F1, MotoGP, Rally, Endurance, IndyCarGT… all disciplines will be included. In the aftermath of the end of the Rally from Japan WRC won by Sébastien OgierThe gap between the top two in the championship is now three points. Elfyn Evans, the leader, has 272 points compared to 269 for his French rival.
Naturally, the favorite would tend to be the one leading the pack. Although Sébastien Ogier regained the WRC lead after the Rally Chile, the driver Toyota had been forced to retire after suffering a slow puncture that sent him off the track, ending his race in the trees at the edge of the course. However, his latest bonus-point victory in Japan, earning him 35 more points, left no room for doubt.
Is Ogier in an ideal position against Evans?
From November 27th to 30th, the Saudi Arabia Rally will close out the 2025 WRC season. While the championship leader will be the one opening the road all day Friday, Elfyn Evans is likely to be at a disadvantage in this regard. The Welshman will have to contend with the sweeping effect of gravel roads throughout the first third of this final rally of the year. In this context, Sébastien Ogier could pull away from his rival even before the rally gets underway.

Finally, in terms of momentum, while Elfyn Evans has been remarkably consistent in his performance, he has finished second in his last four rallies. Winner of two rallies this year, the Welshman had secured first place in the Swedish and Kenyan events… the very same rallies in which Sébastien Ogier did not participate.
So, is Sébastien Ogier already the favorite despite being runner-up? Will he win his 9th world title at the end of the month? Don't forget to vote and feel free to share your opinion in the comments!

The dirtiest rally of the season? Perhaps, it's a first for the WRC in this final round! As for Ogier, he'll start right behind him, will that be enough? That remains to be seen.

Without a doubt, Evans will be opening the dirtiest rally of the season and he doesn't know how to handle it, already a huge gap and then mentally...
