It's a double win for Elfyn Evans! After his success in Sweden, the Welshman returned to victory this weekend, in the demanding Safari Rally Kenya. The driver Toyota dodged the rain and mechanical problems to brilliantly win, his first victory in Kenya. A second consecutive victory that allows him to fly away in the championship. With 27 points scored this weekend, Elfyn Evans now has 88 points, an impressive score from these first three rounds of the season, especially with the role of fly-half in two of them.

The Briton already has a comfortable lead at the top of the championship, since his closest pursuer, Thierry Neuville (52 points), is already 36 points behind in 2nd place after only three rallies. Ott Tänak completes the Top 3 with 49 points. Despite his two retirements on Thursday and Friday, Adrien fourmaux (31 points) climbs to 5th place in the championship thanks to its clean sweep on Sunday, with 10 points scored out of 10 possible.

In the Manufacturers' Championship, Toyota retains the lead with 148 points. However, despite Elfyn Evans' victory, his lead has been reduced by Hyundai (122 points): the gap is now 36 points between the two teams. M-Sport Ford is in 3rd place with 47 points.
