How many Monte Carlo races have you played?

The first time I came was in 1981 with Paul Gardère's Talbot Sunbeam Lotus. This year is my 25th and I have met fourteen different drivers.

Is there always impatience in you as the test approaches?

(Laughs) The first few years I ran it, I was so happy that I would put the necessary Michelin maps on the walls of my house to visualize the route. Today, you can trace 99% of the rally on one… It’s not the m anymore
