Emma Chalvin: “I had three incredible days”

The sparkling Frenchwoman charmed the jury of the Women's Talent Development Program. With her enthusiasm, her involvement and her driving skills, the Savoyard was in the running to be among the three winners, but was ultimately not selected. She will nevertheless keep a good memory of this experience.

What did you expect when you arrived at the start of this camp in Krakow, Poland?

We had a program with the broad outlines. However, we did not really know what we were going to be faced with, because they preferred to remain vague.

Were you prepared?

I had tried to make cards and prepare some things, but not knowing too much about what we were going to do, it was complicated to launch into a specific preparation. In any case, I had not tried to imagine precisely what was going to happen and in the end it was great.

What did you like?

There were surprises every day and we discovered a lot of things with speakers who changed and brought new insights. I found all this very interesting and it also allowed me to meet great people both in the people who supervised us during the courses and among the participants. We were 15 girls from several countries with all different experiences and it was super enriching. I spent three incredible days.

What is your view on this program?

It's a good thing to do it to allow more girls to come into motorsport. It was very complete and now I know what I have to work on to progress.

In what area do you need to improve?

I have no experience on gravel, so I tell myself that I have to manage to do some kilometers on this surface. Maybe I have to manage to orient my 2025 program in this championship.
