Finland - SS7: Rovanperä continues and escapes

Kalle Rovanperä won a 4th scratch this Friday by setting the best time on SS7. The reigning double world champion extends his lead at the top of the Rally Finland.

We can't stop it anymore! Kalle Rovanperä continues by setting the best time of SS7 in 7'39″3! This is 3″1 better than Elfyn Evans, who he relegates to 7″8 overall! This is the fourth scratch for the Finn this Friday, who escapes at the head of the Rally from Finland.
Like this morning, Sébastien Ogier seemed slightly behind his two teammates at Toyota. The Frenchman conceded another 1″3 to Elfyn Evans on this 7th special. However, he remains in contact overall, only 4″2 behind the Welshman and 12″0 behind leader Kalle Rovanperä.
Sole survivor at Hyundai, Thierry Neuville take advantage of the wet track to save the furniture and stay close to the podium. After seven special stages, the Belgian is only 28″5 behind Kalle Rovanperä and 16″5 behind Sébastien Ogier.
