13h13 – 🏆🇫🇷 VICTORY FOR SÉBASTIEN OGIER ON THE RALLY FROM FINLAND! Exceptional performance from the Frenchman who won a 3rd victory on his 6th participation in 2024! The eight-time world champion climbs to 2nd place in the pilot championship! He finished 5th in the Power Stage and 3rd in the Super Sunday!

Power Stage – Ranking

Rally Finland – Ranking

13h09 – 🥈 It may only be a 2nd place for Thierry Neuville but from an accounting point of view, he is THE big winner of this Rally of Finland after the zero points of Elfyn Evans and Ott Tänak in Finland! The Belgian takes the lead in the championship. He finished with the 2nd provisional time on this Power Stage, 0″7 behind Katsuta.

13h05 – 🥉🇫🇷 Podium for Adrien Fourmaux! Third in Finland, the Northerner won his fourth podium of the season after those of Sweden, Kenya and Poland! The result of clean driving throughout the weekend despite a Ford Puma which was not adjusted to its liking on Friday. The pilot M-Sport takes 3rd time in the Power Stage, 1″8 behind Takamoto Katsuta.

13h00 – 👏 For his first rally in the premier category, Sami Pajari stood out: apart from an error which could have been fatal on Friday morning in SS2, the Finn had an excellent weekend with the highlight being a first special victory in SS9 at only 22 years old. His first appearance in Rally1 with Toyota ends with a sublime 4th place at the finish of his national rally. He set the 3rd time in the Power Stage, 3″5 behind Takamoto Katsuta.

12h56 – ⏱️ It was beaten by Takamoto Katsuta in 5'12″5! The Japanese is 1″2 faster than Esapekka Lappi… and the two drivers are tied in the Super Sunday rankings! For the moment, it is the Finn who is announced in front.

12h52 – ⏱️ New best time, this time for Esapekka Lappi. The Finn clocks 5'13″7, which is 10″6 faster than Grégoire Munster.

12h49 – ⏱️ Logically, Grégoire Munster takes the best provisional time and sets the benchmark in 5'24″3 for Rally1. The Belgian had a difficult Rally Finland, having retired on Saturday morning. Rebound expected in Greece.

12h46 – 🏁 Here is the Rally2 ranking at the end of this Rally Finland! And now, time for Rally1 with Grégoire Munster!

12h44 – 🏆 Victory for Oliver Solberg in WRC2! The Swede wins another victory in the category and escapes to the top of the championship! He finished his rally with the 2nd time on the Power Stage, won by Mikko Heikkilä.

12h40 – 🥈 Podium for Jari-Matti Latvala! The Finnish veteran, Toyota Team Principal and three-time winner of the Rally Finland in the premier category, takes a podium in WRC2 with the Yaris Rally2! What a performance from the record holder for starts in WRC (211 departures)! He set the 4th provisional time in the Power Stage.

12h37 – 🥉 And it’s a home podium for Lauri Joona! The Finn, author of the 2nd fastest time in this Power Stage, retains his 3rd place ahead of Mikko Heikkilä by 2″6!

12h33 – ⏱️ Fourth in the WRC2 standings, Mikko Heikkilä finished his national rally in full force by setting the provisional best time in WRC2, in 5'28″3. A good rally for the Finn on his Yaris Rally2.

12h29 – ⏱️ Georg Linnamäe in turn improves to 5'33″2. The Estonian ranks 6th in the Rally2 category.

12h25 – ⏱️ This is beaten by one of the many Finns entered in WRC2, Roope Korhonen, who signs a 5'38″6 aboard his Toyota Yaris Rally2. At home, he should finish in 7th place in his category.

12h21 – ⏱️ Nikolay Gryazin is therefore the first to set a reference time on this Power Stage in 5'42″8. Remember that neither he nor his teammate Yohan Rossel are eligible for WRC2 points this weekend in Finland.

12h20 – 🌧️ Little weather update: it’s raining on the Power Stage! The sun which graced us with its presence this morning has disappeared behind the clouds.

12h18 – 🔎 As a reminder, there are no more points awarded in Power Stage for WRC2.

12h17 – 🟢 Nikolay Gryazin is the first to set off on this Power Stage, off we go for the Russian-Bulgarian aboard his Citroën C3 Rally2!

12h15 – 🔎 Here is the starting order for this Power Stage:

1) Gryazin [WRC2]
2) Korhonen [WRC2]
3) Linnamäe [WRC2]
4) Heikkilä [WRC2]
5) Joona [WRC2]
6) Latvala [WRC2]
7) Solberg [WRC2]
8) Munster
9) Lappi
10) Katsuta
11) Pajari
12) Fourmaux
13) Neuville
14) Ogier

12h13 – 🔎 Concerning the points distributed on Saturday: due to the abandonment of Kalle Rovanperä, all drivers gain a place on the standings fixed on Saturday evening. This means that Sébastien Ogier is (for the moment) credited with 18 points in the Saturday ranking, Thierry Neuville with 15 points, etc.

12h10 – 📺 I hope you have recovered from the incredible 19th special, which saw Kalle Rovanperä crash into the scenery a few meters from the finish! For those who haven't seen it, here is the accident of the double world champion in replay!

12h10 – We are back to follow the Power Stage of this Rally of Finland!

10h58 – 👋 Meet at 12:15 p.m. for the start of the Power Stage (Laajavuori 2 – 8,77 km).

10h55 – 🔎 In the Super Sunday standings, Sébastien Ogier is in the lead with 0″4 ahead of Esapekka Lappi and 1″6 over Takamoto Katsuta.

10h51 – 🏁 And this is how this completely crazy 19th and penultimate special ends with the retirements of Kalle Rovanperä and Elfyn Evans! Sébastien Ogier is therefore leading the Rally Finland ahead of Thierry Neuville and Adrien Fourmaux!

ES19 – Ranking

General ranking after ES19

10h49 – ❌ IT’S OVER FOR KALLE ROVANPERÄ! The Finn hit a rock in the final meters of the special, sending him wide and rolling! The crew is OK and got out of the Toyota, but what a twist in this penultimate special! Sébastien Ogier takes the lead in the Rally Finland!

10h48 – ⚠️ Kalle Rovanperä goes into overdrive! Amazing !

10h45 – 🇫🇷 1″1 behind for Sébastien Ogier on his teammate Takamoto Katsuta. The Frenchman moves to 2nd in the Super Sunday standings and will score big points. As things stand, he would be second in the championship!

10h41 – Thierry Neuville, who should score a huge blow in the championship since his two direct rivals, Elfyn Evans and Ott Tänak, will leave Finland with zero points, takes the 2nd provisional time, six tenths behind Takamoto Katsuta. “I knew Elfyn was out, but I struggled to get a feeling [with the car]. We have to be smart now and take the points we can. »

10h38 – 🇫🇷 Adrien Fourmaux secures his 4th place overall and finishes 5″5 behind Takamoto Katsuta in this penultimate special.

10h34 – The young rookie in the premier category is only 3″6 behind Takamoto Katsuta at the finish despite his forced slowdown behind Elfyn Evans.

10h32 – Sami Pajari has just passed Elfyn Evans' stranded Toyota. Forced to slow down, he could recover a few seconds from the race management after the special.

10h31 – ⏱️ Meanwhile, up front, Takamoto Katsuta took the best time in 6'36″6.

10h30 – 🟡 The crew is OK and got out of the Toyota, but what a twist for the championship!

10h28 – ⚠️ Elfyn Evans went off the track from the start! The Toyota driver made a mistake in the first corner, going wide and then hitting a tree on the other side of the road! He won't score any points this weekend!

10h27 – ⏱️ Esapekka Lappi is logically faster: the Finn takes the provisional best time in 6'32″2.

10h24 – ⏱️ Grégoire Munster crossed the line first with a time of 6'47″1. It's still very slow compared to the best time this morning.

10h22 – 📺 And this morning also, Sami Pajari scared himself by leaving the track!

1oh20 – 🔎 During the first pass this morning, it was Kalle Rovanperä who set the best time in 6'33″6.

10h17 – 🟢 The 19th and penultimate special is launched with the departure of Grégoire Munster!

9h32 – 🏁 Kalle Rovanperä, again and again! The Finn signs an 11th scratch this weekend with the best time of SS18 in 2'40″4! He also remains at the top of Super Sunday!

ES18 – Ranking

General ranking after ES18

9h30 – 💬 Thierry Neuville: “We lost the rear when accelerating and we lost a tenth or two. It's not a very good [feeling], we're fighting and we don't have a very good balance. We are fighting and trying to go home with some points. »

9h29 – ⏱️🇫🇷 But it was immediately beaten by Sébastien Ogier, who set the best time with a 0″ lead over Thierry Neuville!

9h26 – ⏱️ Two tenths is also the gap between Thierry Neuville and Elfyn Evans… but to the Belgian's advantage this time! The pilot Hyundai signs the provisional best time in 2'41″0.

9h23 – 🇫🇷 Adrien Fourmaux very close to beating Elfyn Evans! The Frenchman failed just two tenths behind the Welshman.

9h21 – Meanwhile, Kalle Rovanperä watches her little friends on the track while waiting for her turn!

9h20 – Young Sami Pajari crossed the line 1″0 behind Elfyn Evans.

9h17 – ⏱️ Provisional best time for Elfyn Evans in 2'41″2! The Welshman continues to attack, he must score points this Sunday with a view to the championship.

9h14 – Takamoto Katsuta fails only a tenth behind Esapekka Lappi on this short special. Lots of sweeping throughout the passages.

9:11 a.m. – ⏱️ It was immediately beaten by Esapekka Lappi who clocked 2'41″9. “In the first stage it seemed like we managed to get through it, but this time, no luck. Because of the sweeping, it is very slippery. We did what we could. »

9h08 – ⏱️ Grégoire Munster sets a first reference time of 2'48″0.

9h05 – 🟢  Let's go for this very short special of 4,35 kilometers, which winds around a ski resort, with the departure of Grégoire Munster.

8h23 – 🇫🇷 Third provisional time for Sébastien Ogier just 1″0 behind his teammate Elfyn Evans.

8h20 – Thierry Neuville finished 4″0 behind Elfyn Evans at the end of this SS17. The championship leader must secure the points this Sunday. “It’s a lot [of time lost compared to Evans]. I have to take too many risks if I want to go faster and there is no reason to take risks. We worry [about Super Sunday], but I don't need to go any faster. »

8h17 – 🇫🇷 Two-three small scares for Adrien Fourmaux on this 17th special and a time 5″7 from the reference set by Elfyn Evans.

8h16 – 💬 Elfyn Evans: “We have to see what is possible, it was a very clean stage here. I'm not sure I was brave enough, but we'll see how it goes. Normally we are alone in this race because of the points, that's how it's always been at Toyota. We have to do our job first. »

8h14 – ⚠️ Sami Pajari's mistake! The Finn lost control of his Yaris and went into the grass. An exit from the track without consequence, except on the time: the young rookie lost around fifteen seconds and finished 16″0 behind Elfyn Evans.

8h11 – ⏱️ After her zero points yesterday due to a driveshaft problem, Elfyn Evans must score big points today with a view to the championship. The Welshman got off to a good start by setting the provisional best time in 6'34″0, 0″6 ahead of Esapekka Lappi.

8h08 – No improvement for Takamoto Katsuta, who crossed the finish line 1″7 behind Esapekka Lappi
