Rovanperä absent in Japan, Mikkelsen retained… logical choices?

The list of 44 competitors who will contest the next Rally Japan (November 21-24) has been revealed and it is surprising to note the absence of Kalle Rovanperä. At Hyundai, confidence has been maintained in Andreas Mikkelsen.

Rovenpera is indeed within his absolute rights, and if Toyota fails they will only have themselves to blame. We cannot bet everything on temporary workers who do not have their heads in the championship, even if it is a request from the team. It is a policy that does not work and Toyota is realizing it today.
