The end of the season is approaching, the last ones rally on land too! A few days before the Acropolis Rally, the WRC has revealed the entry list for the Rally Chile (September 26-29), the penultimate round of the 2024 season and the last gravel event on the calendar. The South American round will welcome a great field with 45 teams registered, including ten in the premier class.

In Rally1, we will have four in particular Toyota Yaris at the start of the Rally of Chile. In addition to the two holders Elfyn Evans and Takamoto Katsuta, and the "returning" Sébastien Ogier who will conclude the season in search of the world title, the double reigning champion Kalle Rovanperä will join the party. The Finn, unlucky at home during the Rally Finland with a retirement in the penultimate special stage while he was leading, will try to take his revenge and secure a fourth victory in 2024.

As usual, there will be three Hyundai i20 engaged with the duo Thierry Neuville - Ott Tänak on the two cars registered for the year. The third car will be occupied by Esapekka Lappi, who will experience his fifth WRC rally of the season. Finally, at M-Sport, the sensation Martins Sesks returns for a third time in the premier class aboard a non-hybrid Ford Puma, alongsideAdrien fourmaux and Grégoire Munster.

There will also be 18 Rally2 drivers at the start of the South American event, with big names like Oliver Solberg (Skoda), Yohan Rossel (Citroën), Nikolay Gryazin (Citroën), Gus Greensmith (Skoda), Jan Solans (Toyota) and Pierre-Louis Loubet (Skoda). The first mentioned, in the running for the WRC2 title, will be favourites for the Rally Chile.
