Having now had good practice in the Monaco round, the Gard team will be in charge of several cars in different categories. While a Ford Fiesta Rally3 should soon join the workshop in February, two Renault Clio R3 will be at Gap.

Local Damien Oberti experienced using it during the Hivernal du Dévoluy last December and Ghjuvanni Red has already completed two races at his wheel at the end of the season. In case of snow, they could aim for good places. However, this would be more complicated for Armand Fumal. The 54-year-old Belgian came in WRC on the special stages of Deutschland or Catalunya and recently at rally from Central Europe, but he will discover Monte-Carlo. He will not be alone in evolving Alpine A110 RGT. Eric Royère (59 years old) will operate the same car with two appearances in Monaco already. Louis Chazel and the team know this car well, a project is being studied to field one in Japan at the end of the calendar.

The entire French structure will travel to the Hautes-Alpes to take care of two additional pilots. Novice at Monte-Carlo, Frédéric Perrard who raced a lot in Belgium will use a Peugeot 208 Rally4 and finally the Marseille amateur Olivier Morini will come to fulfill a dream with his Peugeot 208 R2. “ We have a good relationship with the ACM, explains Louis, Renaud Chazel’s son. We know what to try to do to be retained among those involved. We try to get started early and provide a complete file. Given what we do on the circuit, we are used to having to manage several cars. Our objective is to offer a beautiful space and above all to ensure that our 6 crews reach Monaco. »

The event which will take place from January 25 to 28 has 324,44 km timed divided into 17 special stages.
