It's the big question this weekend: what will the weather be like during the Rally Monte-Carlo in the South-East of France? Every year, the Monte-Carlo offers us its share of uncertainty with sometimes icy and snowy editions, sometimes dry and exceptionally hot rallies, as was the case in 2024. And in 2025 then, what weather is forecast for this 93rd edition? If snow fell at the beginning of the week on the highest mountains of this Rallye Monte-Carlo – notably on the legendary Col du Turini, scene of the 18th and last special of the rally on Sunday – this should not hold, alas, during the weekend.

Indeed, the MétéoFrance forecasts as of January 21 do not predict snow over the entire weekend, but rather mixed weather in the Gap region – where the service park and the majority of the special stages are located – Digne-les-Bains (SS1 and SS17) and La Bollène-Vésubie (SS18 at the Col de Turini), with fairly mild temperatures for the season.
On Thursday, for the first three special stages which will take place at night between Digne-les-Bains and Gap, the weather will be cloudy and the road potentially wet and slippery since showers are forecast during the day, with temperatures around 5°C at nightfall.
On Friday, bright sunshine is expected over Gap and the stages of the second leg of the Rallye Monte-Carlo, with temperatures ranging from 1°C in the early morning to around 13°C in the afternoon. Ideal weather conditions but which should melt the ice and snow that may still be lingering on the road.
On Saturday, however, rain could return at the end of the day in particular, even if temperatures will still be mild with minimums of 2°C in the morning and maximums of up to 14°C in the afternoon. Finally, for the last stage on Sunday morning, rain is expected between Digne-les-Bains and La Bollène-Vésubie, where the Power Stage will take place at the Col de Turini, with temperatures between 3°C and 9°C in the morning.
