1. What is the biography of Alex Marquez?

Alex Márquez was born on April 23, 1996, in Cervera, Spain. The younger brother of Marc Márquez, he grew up in the same passionate motorcycle environment and quickly followed in his elder brother's footsteps in competition. He made his World Championship debut in 2012 in the Moto3 class as a substitute before earning a full-time seat the following year.

In 2014, he won his first Moto3 world championship with Honda, after a season marked by a close duel with Jack Miller. He thus became the first rider in history to be crowned world champion in the same season as his brother Marc, who won the MotoGP title the same year.

He then moved up to Moto2 in 2015, where he had a difficult start. It took him time to adapt to this more demanding category but he progressed steadily. In 2019, he had an impressive season with the Marc VDS team and won the world championship title after a series of regular victories and podium finishes.

In 2020, he moved up to MotoGP with the official Honda team to replace Jorge Lorenzo.
