

Enea Bastianini was born on December 30, 1997, in Rimini, Italy. Passionate about motorcycles since childhood, he quickly distinguished himself in Italian competitions before joining the Moto3 World Championship in 2014 with the Gresini team. From his first seasons, he showed great potential, achieving several podium finishes and victories, finishing runner-up in the 2016 World Championship.
After several seasons in Moto3, he moved up to Moto2 in 2019 with the Italtrans Racing Team. In his second year in the intermediate category, he established himself as a title contender. In 2020, after a solid and consistent season, he was crowned Moto2 World Champion with three wins and numerous podium finishes.
In 2021, he made his MotoGP debut with the Avintia Ducati team. Despite riding an older bike than the factory riders, he impressed, securing two podium finishes and demonstrating great race-management skills. In 2022, he joined the Gresini Ducati team and had an exceptional season with four wins. He finished third in the championship, earning him a promotion to the factory Ducati team in 2023 alongside Francesco Bagnaia.
His 2023 season has been marred by injuries that have prevented him from defending his championship hopes. Nevertheless, he remains a talented and ambitious driver, ready to bounce back and challenge for the title in the coming seasons.
