

Jorge Martín was born on January 29, 1998, in Madrid, Spain. Passionate about motorcycles from a young age, he quickly rose through the ranks of youth competitions before joining the Moto3 World Championship in 2016 with the Aspar Mahindra team.
In 2017, he joined the Gresini Honda team and distinguished himself with his talent in qualifying, winning numerous pole positions. He took his first Moto3 victory in 2018 and, after a remarkable season, was crowned Moto3 World Champion with seven victories and great consistency.
In 2019, he moved up to Moto2 with the Red Bull KTM Ajo team and showed steady progress. He claimed several podiums and a victory, but injuries prevented him from challenging for the title. In 2020, he continued to establish himself with Kalex and achieved further successes before being promoted to MotoGP in 2021 with the satellite Pramac Ducati team.
