

Marc Márquez was born on February 17, 1993, in Cervera, Spain. Passionate about motorcycles from a young age, he began competing at a young age and quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent. He joined the world championship in 2008 in the 125cc class with the KTM team.
In 2010, at just 17 years old, he won his first world title in 125cc with Derbi. He then moved up to Moto2 in 2011 and became world champion in his second season in 2012, demonstrating an impressive mastery of the competition.
In 2013, he made his MotoGP debut with the official Honda team and immediately made history by winning the world title in his first season. He thus became the youngest world champion in the history of the premier class, at just 20 years old. The following year, he confirmed his immense talent by achieving an exceptional season, racking up ten consecutive victories and retaining his title.
After a more difficult 2015 season, in which he finished third in the championship, he came back stronger in 2016 and won his third MotoGP title. Since then, he has dominated the championship with impressive consistency, winning the titles in 2017, 2018, and 2019. His 2019 season was one of his most impressive ever, with 12 wins and a record 420 points scored.
In 2020, his career took a dramatic turn when he crashed in the first race of the season at Jerez and suffered a serious injury to his right arm. After several surgeries and a long recovery, he returned to competition in 2021, but faced physical difficulties and inconsistent performances.
The following seasons were marked by injuries and a Honda losing competitiveness. Despite these challenges, he remained one of the most spectacular and determined riders on the grid, always capable of impressive performances. In 2024, he left Honda after eleven seasons to join the Ducati Gresini team, with the ambition of returning to the top.
