

Raúl Fernández was born on October 23, 2000, in Madrid, Spain. Passionate about motorcycles from a young age, he quickly progressed through the Spanish and European championships before joining the Moto3 World Championship in 2019 with the Ángel Nieto Team.
After a first season of apprenticeship, he joined the Red Bull KTM Ajo team in 2020. He established himself as one of the fastest riders on the grid, securing several victories and pole positions. He finished the season fourth in the championship and was noted for his fluid and aggressive style.
In 2021, he moved directly to Moto2 with the same team and impressed by winning eight races in his first season. He finished runner-up in the world championship behind his teammate Remy Gardner, after an intense battle throughout the year.
Thanks to his performances, he made it to MotoGP in 2022 with the Tech3 KTM team, but he struggled to adapt to the premier class. The KTM bike didn't allow him to fully exploit his potential, and he finished a difficult season without any notable results. In 2023, he joined the RNF Aprilia satellite team, where he showed progress, but remained behind the best riders in the field.
Although he doesn't yet hold a world title, Raúl Fernández is renowned for his qualifying skills and his untapped potential in MotoGP. He hopes to establish himself as a competitive rider in the coming years.
