Marc Márquez returns to the track after his injury

Since his injury in Mandalika last October, Marc Márquez hadn't ridden a sportbike on a track. That's now changed. As a reminder, on that day, the 2025 world champion... MotoGP He was hit by Marco Bezzecchi at the start of the Indonesian Grand Prix. Thrown into the gravel, he fractured his right collarbone and had to withdraw from the remaining rounds scheduled for the end of the season.

Focusing on his rehabilitation, Marc Márquez didn't immediately return to riding. His first training session took place shortly before Christmas, with a Ducati 450MX in flat track at the Alcarras circuit in Spain. Two weeks later, the nine-time world champion made his long-awaited return to the track.

This outing took place near Valencia, at the Aspar circuit, with other Ducati MotoGP riders. Fermín Aldeguer was there, before suffering a crash that left him with a fractured left femur, greatly compromising his pre-season.

Number 93 is thus preparing for its return for the first tests of the year, which will take place from February 3rd to 5th at the Sepang circuit. Further testing will be organized alongside the Thai Grand Prix, the opening round of the 2026 season, as two additional days of testing will be held in Buriram on February 21st and 22nd.
