MotoGP has officially launched its season on the streets of Kuala Lumpur

After the Sepang circuit (Malaysia), the MotoGP took to the streets of Kuala Lumpur, the country's capital, at nightfall. The Pramac pilots kicked off a perfectly orchestrated parade: Toprak Razgatlıoğlu and Jack Miller distinguished themselves by performing a series of... stoppies and wheelies impressive crowd of nearly 20,000 people came to witness the launch of the 2026 MotoGP season.

They were then followed by the Honda HRC, Tech3, Trackhouse, VR46, and Gresini teams, with Álex Márquez riding the sole Desmosedici. Marc Márquez also put on a show, performing numerous drifts on his Ducati to the delight of the crowd. A video also recaps the 2025 season, in which the nine-time world champion naturally took center stage, receiving a thunderous ovation from the spectators.

On the other hand, the absences of Fermín Aldeguer and fabio quartararo Their injuries did not go unnoticed. Injured – one with a left femur following a fall during training and the other with a finger after going off track during pre-season testing – the drivers broadcast an apology message on giant screens.

The MotoGP grid will now fine-tune its settings one last time in Buriram (Thailand) on February 21 and 22 before the start of the season scheduled for March 1 on the same circuit.
