Mugello resonated far beyond the exploits of the drivers. MotoGPAs a curtain-raiser to the Italian Grand Prix, FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup has once again confirmed its status as the most atypical and spectacular series of the moment. Its concept? To pit specially prepared Harley-Davidson Road Glides against each other on the world's greatest circuits, capable of achieving astonishing performance despite their imposing size.

For this second round of the 2026 season, all eyes were on Andrea Iannone. The former MotoGP rider, Grand Prix winner and iconic figure of the world championship, was nevertheless discovering the discipline. From qualifying onwards, the Italian demonstrated that he had lost none of his speed, securing third place on the grid behind Eric Granado and Archie McDonald.

The Maniac is having a blast!

Race 2 offered a condensed version of what makes the Bagger World Cup so increasingly successful: constant overtaking, minimal gaps, and wheel-to-wheel battles. Long locked in a duel with Granado, McDonald, and Fran Ruiz Gutiérrez, Iannone found himself battling the Brazilian after the Spaniard crashed while fighting for the lead.

After an intense battle, the Niti Racing rider finally gained the upper hand to clinch his first victory in the category, in only his second race. This performance highlights the natural talent of "The Maniac" and confirms the growing appeal of the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup, which blends MotoGP prestige, exceptional machines, and guaranteed entertainment.
