Aprilia celebrated his 'All Star' day last weekend at the Misano circuit, which will host the San Marino Grand Prix of MotoGP next September, to close the long current European tour.
With more than 20 fans on site, the fully open event was a success.
For the occasion, Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaro from the official factory structure in MotoGP, or even Miguel Oliveira from the satellite team, Trackhouse Racing, made the trip. Other drivers linked to the brand, such as Lorenzo Savadori, Max Biaggi, Loris Capirossi and Mattia Pasini were also there to pay tribute to the Noale firm.
Many historic machines hit the track during the festivities, from Superbikes from the 1970s to 125cc bikes from the 1980s.
Equipped with an Aprilia RS 660 Extrema, the riders then took part in the 'All Star' event. A team race with a change of driver, and a standing start similar to those which can be witnessed in Endurance.
A competition which saw duos from all eras form, and which was won by Loris Capirossi and Miguel Oliveira. The Viñales-Cordara pair finished second ahead of the Espargaró-Baiocco crew.
