A “very special” feeling for Bastianini who regains victory at Silverstone

The number 23 will have been a teammate of choice for the double world champion Francesco Bagnaia. After his fall this Saturday, Bastianini took back points from Jorge Martin, preventing him from taking control of the championship. Something done again this Sunday, even if this time he could not prevent the Spaniard from taking the lead, with three units ahead of number 1. At this tenth meeting of the year, Bastianini once again highlighted his managerial abilities, after a bad start. The Ducati rider methodically moved up the hierarchy, taking advantage of small mistakes from Bagnaia and Martin in the final laps to win. However, the former Gresini driver was clearly the strongest at the end of the race, having managed to manage his Michelin tires to perfection.
