The French manufacturer will make its debut in Formula E next season in place of the Maserati team, and it will welcome two new drivers on this occasion. The double champion of the discipline, Jean-Éric Vergne, is no stranger to Stellantis since he drives for Peugeot since the return of the Sochaux brand to the FIA WEC, and that he competed in the last seasons of Formula E with DS Techeetah then DS Penske. The young British Taylor Barnard will replace him in the Franco-American team.

Nick Cassidy, who finished on the podium for the last three Formula E seasons with Envision and then Jaguar, joins the Stellantis group, as he will also drive the Peugeot 9X8 in WEC next year. Like Vergne, the Kiwi brings all his Formula E experience and should help Citroën aim for the top spots from the outset.

Now, only Mahindra has not officially announced either of its two drivers, while there is still a place available at Andretti (which should go to Felipe Drugovich), Cupra Kiro, Jaguar, Lola Yamaha and Porsche.

When will this championship end? ‼️ No interest. For the Citroën brand ….. Vergne/Cassidy, the choice is good ……. but it's a championship….. for retirees…..!!!!!! At Stellantis they would do better to make cars……. reliable …… ‼️🤨. 😎👀👎👀👎🤔
