Evan Giltaire's season in FRECA was not as successful as hoped. Expected to be a title contender, the Frenchman did not achieve the anticipated success and had to settle for 5th place in the championship in his second season in the category.
The young man remains a talented driver, winner of the French F4 Championship in 2023 and the Formula Regional Middle East (FRMEC) earlier this year. After receiving his trophy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, at the FIA prize-giving ceremony, Evan Giltaire is preparing to head to Japan to participate in the Super Formula Lights tests, the feeder series for the Japanese single-seater category won a few weeks ago by Ayumu Iwasa.
Giltaire will find there names he has met in FRECA or F4 such as Rintaro Sato, son of Takuma, with whom he will race at B-MAX, or Akshay Bohra, 6th in FRECA, and Oscar Wurz, 18th in Eurocup-3.
