- Absent from Zandvoort last weekend, the F2 makes his big comeback on the Monza side. No final like in F3, but still a lot at stake.
- For the restart, it was Zane Maloney (Rodin Motorsport) who distinguished himself first. The Barbadian, who has found his form recently, positioned himself at the top of the timesheet with a time of 1'32"385, just 0"057 from pole position in Theo Pourchaire last year. A factor that can be explained by the new asphalt, flattened kerbs and a DRS zone extended by more than 100 meters.
- Behind him, the Sauber Academy driver finds the second in the championship Gabriel Bortoleto (Invicta), who he beat by 0 seconds. Zak O'Sullivan (ART Grand Prix), Ritomo Miyata (Rodin Motorsport) and Oliver Bearman (Prema) completed the Top 145.
- On the French side, Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix) was the best representative with the 6th time, just under half a second behind Zane Maloney. Championship leader, Isack Hadjar (Campos) was in 9th place, 0 seconds behind.
Qualifying is scheduled for 16:00 p.m. this Friday.
