DAMS Lucas Oil has unveiled its first driver for the 2025 season. Formula 2. Unsurprisingly, it is Jak Crawford, as we previously announced. The member of theAston Martin Driver Development has signed a victory in Barcelona and five podiums in 2024. This will be the third season in the antechamber of the Formula 1 for the 19-year-old American after a first year at Hitech in 2023.
« I am really pleased to continue with DAMS Lucas Oil for 2025, after a positive 2024 campaign so far, says Crawford. We still have two rounds to go this season to confirm a top-five finish. I hope we can continue to improve next year and be more consistently at the front. I see how determined everyone in the team is to fight to be at the top of the standings, which is why I have decided to stay for another year. Motor racing is a team effort and not an individual sport, so we will improve together and I hope that next season we can achieve better results on track.”
According to our indiscretions, the second driver of Charles Pic's team for the next Formula 2 season should be Kush Maini.
