The championship IndyCar The Indy 500 doesn't take a break in May, far from it, but it's fair to say that it becomes the most important thing for each of the drivers who compete in the series year-round. The road to victory in the 110th edition (May 24th) begins this Tuesday, April 28th, with the first day of testing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. All 33 drivers will be behind the wheel today to test their cars with a package that hasn't changed from last year, but on a track that is constantly evolving.
Last year's fastest Open Test driver, Álex Palou (Chip Ganassi Racing), went on to win the Indianapolis 500 a month later. Now back in the championship lead, can the Spaniard make it two in a row this year?
