As Chip Ganassi Racing has decided to cut back its fleet in IndyCar from 5 to 3 cars by 2025, Marcus Armstrong was asked to look elsewhere. Luckily, the New Zealander didn't waste too much time and has already found his new team.
After two campaigns with CGR with a podium finish and a 14th place in the championship in 2024, the Kiwi will now wear the colours of Meyer Shank Racing aboard the No. 66.

I had a great feeling when I met Mike Shank and Jim Meyer, their passion for performance and meticulous work ethic was evident from our first conversation and I want to thank them for the opportunity.
