Clearly, Paul Aron's (Hitech GP) Hungarian weekend turned sour. Author of pole position, the Estonian had a complicated Sunday. After a first failed braking which caused him to definitively lose the lead in the Main Race, the former protégé of Mercedes had a few battles on the track that didn't work out in his favor. First there was one with Oliver Bearman (Prema) but it was mainly his overtaking of Dennis Hauger (MP Motorsport) which cost him dearly.

By not controlling him, Paul Aron hit Zane Maloney (Rodin Motorsport). An action which resulted in a double abandonment. Summoned to the stewards, the rookie received 10 penalty places on the grid for the next race in which he will participate, namely the Sprint in Belgium next weekend: 5 for having pushed Oliver Bearman outside the limits of the track and 5 others for the incident with Maloney.
