Dorian Pin could hardly ask for better at the end of this first day of the round of F1 Academy in Qatar. A few hours after dominating Free Practice 1, the Prema driver did it again in the second session of the day.
This time, the Tricolore saw Abbi Pulling (Rodin Motorsport), leader of the championship, spend the entire session at the front, unlike the morning session. Thus, it was only under the checkered flag that Doriane Pin regained her advantage with a lap in 1'54"791, ahead of the Englishwoman by just over a tenth. Compared to FP1, the times were almost two seconds faster.
Invited to this round in Qatar, Alisha Palmowski came third and confirmed her good form on the Losail track where she could aim for good results this weekend.
F1 Academy qualifying is scheduled for 13:20pm this Saturday.
