A spectacular crash occurred at the end of the Sao Paulo ePrix in Formula E, this Saturday, December 6th. While a Full Course Yellow (FCY) procedure had been deployed following an off-track excursion by Mitch Evans (Jaguar), a pile-up involving three drivers occurred. Rookie Pepe Martí (Cupra Kiro) launched into the air over the cars of Nico Müller (Porsche) and Antonio Félix Da Costa (Jaguar):

Pepe Martí was most likely caught off guard by the braking of the cars in front of him, a mandatory measure when a Formula 1 Course (FCY) is declared in motorsport. The Spaniard rolled his car before managing to get out of the wreckage on his own. The race was red-flagged to allow for the removal of the Cupra Kiro. According to Formula E, Pepe Martí is uninjured.
