Bearman penalized for recovery

Clearly, nothing is going right for Oliver Bearman (Prema) in this 2024 season. If he is already assured of a place at Haas en F1 next year, the Englishman failed to take off and was even very imprecise on the track in the antechamber. Fifteenth on the grid for the Main Race this Sunday, he was not even able to complete a single turn. In the fight to quickly grab positions, the Briton obviously did not take into account the presence of Zane Maloney (Rodin Motorsport) on his left when he shifted, taking on his way the unfortunate Josep María Martí (Campos) who was forced also abandoned.

Logically summoned by the race management, Oliver Bearman did not escape the sanction. He thus received 5 places on the grid for the next race in which he will participate, namely the Sprint at Monza (August 31). In addition, he lost 2 points on his license bringing his total to 4.
