DAMS will open a new chapter in its history next season. In 2025, the Le Mans team will compete in the FIA World Championship Formula 3 for the first time, after taking over the vacancy left by the departure of Jenzer Motorsport.
And indeed, the first driver to be made official by the French team is none other than a transfer from the former Swiss team: Matías Zagazeta. The Peruvian will compete in his second full season in F3 after finishing 25th (8 points, one podium) in his first campaign in 2024, with Jenzer. Before that, he was vice-champion of British F4 in 2021 before chaining two seasons in FRECA, with a best ranking of 22nd place in 2023 with R-ace GP.
Welcome Matías Zagazeta! 🤩
